The JFed Security team is growing, and we’re looking for retired law enforcement, emergency operations planning and fire department professionals to join us in supporting our goal – to ensure our clients can live safely and proudly at all times.

JFed Security Officers and employees hold a vast variety of experience at the local, state, and federal levels, including the FBI, United States Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security. Together, they are responsible for providing security to maintain a safe and secure environment for members, students, visitors, and staff on the campuses of our partner organizations and its contracted partners throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Minimum Hiring Requirements for Security Officers

Retired Law Enforcement

Police / Sheriff / Federal Agency / Corrections

Must have served 20+ years and retired in good standing

NJ applicants must have NJ RPO and NJ SORA. PA applicants must have PA ACT 235 Certification

Red Card or NJ RPO (Delaware)

Delaware retirees must have Delaware Armed (Red Card) Cert OR obtain NJ RPO (Retired Police Officer) and SORA Cert
